Zhangzhou Kiln-type crackle glazed cups from the 80s, in a footed octagon shape that was popular in Ming and Qing Dynasty Dehua. Please note that there are some significant variations between individual cups in the details of the glaze crackling.
This type of glaze will tend to mute the empty cup aromatics, in exchange for a thicker, rounder mouthfeel. We love these for darker teas such as shou, heicha, and aged whites.
